Franchthi Cave: 2.2 km
The cave is 150 meters deep and 30 meters wide and one of the most important prehistoric sites in Greece. There are indications that the cave was continuously inhabited from 20,000 to 3000 BC.
From Villa Hylas it is more than an hour's walk with some more climbing the last part.
For an easier walk, you can also detour 8 km and then walk for 20 minutes.
For the adventurous, you can also take a brisk climb to view the underground lake.

Lively rustic agricultural town located on a hill with its narrow streets. There are some shops, banks and village square here. It is the capital of the province of Ermioni and is surrounded by olive groves.
Just outside Kranidi a steep walk starts to a church on top of the mountain with a breathtaking view point, you can see from Ermioni to Porto Heli and is really worth it!

Ermioni: 9.6 km
Picturesque fishing village with a beautiful view of the hillside by the old mill.
Ermioni is located on a peninsula and has many tavernas, cafes and bars on both the north and south sides.
Forest van Bisti is on the tip of the peninsula, here are the ancient ruins of the city. You can do a nice circular walk (about 40 minutes) with beautiful views. You can go down a few bays with a staircase for a refreshing dip.
On Thursday mornings there is the (only one in the area) weekly market here.

Spetses is a beautiful island with a pleasant town and many bays where you can swim. With a scooter rented from us you can drive around the entire island and enjoy the beautiful nature along the way.

Hydra: 18 km (+25 min by boat)
This car-free island with its rich history owes its name to the many ancient water sources. In the picturesque harbor you can see traditional mansions, battlements, the naval academy and museums. The cozy terraces and shops around the harbor are very nice.

Moni Agiou Dimitriou: 24 km
Is a monastery built at the end of the 15th century. The last part by car is quite unpaved but it is definitely worth it. The monastery is sheltered against the mountain and has a beautiful view over the valley.

Here you can see one of the most impressive theaters in the whole world.
The village of Epidavros, surrounded by orange and olive groves, is a fishing village with a cozy harbor with restaurants and shops. After the theater visit, there are also nice beaches with restaurants to cool off.
